ZGARD to release their 6th album
After countless delays from our side, we are happy to finally announce a release date for ZGARD's new masterpiece "WIthin The Swirl Of Black Vigor". New album would be released in CD format on October 21st, 2017. It is a darker and furious continuation of “Totem” released two years ago. Quintessence of ancient traditions and pagan outlook, a magic ritual ruled by shaman’s dance. Ethnic instruments, thundery drums, predatory vocals and dark drive… within a swirl of black vigor!
ZGARD to release their 5th album
The Ukrainian one man-institution ZGARD, unmatched when it comes to Folk-influenced Atmospheric Pagan Black Metal now reveal their 5th album called “Totem”, which is dedicated to the Veles, the old Slavonic god of sorcerers. Dipped into a conspirative and penumbral atmosphere showing a foggy and fiery scenery of rituals, the listener is taken on a journey of fast moving and opaque. The interplay of speeding drums, torrential vocals, and acoustic elements as light flute, plucked guitar and airy voice interludes promise an alternating bath of emotions. If you like to be drawn and drowned by such a folkish mood, ZGARD will make your day.
Album will be released on November 27, 2015 and comes in two editions - standard jewelcase CD and limited to 100 copies hand-numbered digipak-CD.

New Zgard album is available for pre-orders
Svarga Music is proud to announce June 23, 2014 as a release date of ZGARD's fourth album "Contemplation." For the past four years, one-man band ZGARD has been patiently developing an intensely personal vision of pagan-oriented black metal. Now, with the release of "Contemplation," ZGARD mastermind Yaromisl has perfected his craft, showing a rawer yet no-less-grandiose side that vividly illustrates the Carpathian mysticism at the heart of that craft. Compared to its celebrated predecessors, 2012's "Reclusion" and 2013's "Astral Glow," ZGARD here go for an atmosphere that's less cosmic and more organic, stirring both bloodlust and majesty within the listener as Yaromisl guides each of the seven tracks along an epic path. As always, the native folk touches are at the forefront but never threaten to overwhelm. As a title, then, "Contemplation" is more than fitting.
